In Pai Gow poker, using Net Entertainment software, you are dealt seven cards and the object is to make two hands from these 7 cards. A Low Hand with 2 cards and a High Hand with 5 cards.

The goal is to have the highest hand for both low and high hands. The dealer will do the same.

In Pai Gow online poker your high hand can not be higher than your low hand. Once you've sorted your hands, they are compared.

If either of your hands are higher than the dealers same hand, you win that hand. It's possible to win one and lose the other, win both or lose both.

There may be a Joker included in the Pai Gow poker deck, but it doesn't have the usual attributes of a Joker. It can only be used to complete a Straight, Flush, Straight Flush or Royal Flush. Otherwise the Joker is treated as an Ace.

Pai Gow poker hands are ranked according to standard poker rules with one exception: the Ace-2-3-4-5 straight is the second highest straight.

Straights rank, from highest to lowest: Ace-K-Q-J-10, Ace-2-3-4-5, K-Q-J-10-9, and 6-5-4-3-2. Remember that the best two-card hand is a pair of aces.

Pai Gow online poker will raise the 2 cards it recommends for the high hand. You have the choice of using their suggestion or choosing your own. I usually agree with their suggestions.

I like the way Pai Gow poker plays with Net Entertainment software, its very player friendly!
